• Mail sorters can be stacked with a module of equal depth and width 
• Unit dimensions: 31 1/2"H x 25 3/8"W x 12 1/4"D (letter size) or 16 1/4" (legal size)
• Letter or legal size mail master sorters have 18 shelves with 20 pocket openings
• Letter depth (12 1/4") mail sorter weighs 100 lbs. whereas legal depth (16 1/4") mail sorter weighs 120 lbs. (note open back mail sorter may weigh slightly less)
• Tabletop mail sorters interior and exterior shell and vertical dividers are made of 3/4" 45-50 lb. substrate (particle board) with thermally fused finish and matching or complimentary 3/8" PVC on front edges
• Unit has steel shelves have a 90 degree 1/2" lip label area with center cut out
• Letter and legal size modules include one shelf (easily adjustable in 1" increments) for every three inches providing 2 1/2" spacing from shelf to shelf
• Internal mail sorter housing hardware to hold shelves in place generally referred to as standards are painted black
• Open back mail organizers have a 1/2" label area on the front and back of each shelf
• Depth can be ordered in letter size (12 1/4") or legal size (16 1/4") which allows for a net opening for letter sorters of 11 1/4"W x 11 1/4"D or legal sorters of 11 1/4"W x 15 1/4"
• Mail sorter label holders are offered as an option and the quantity provided is equal to the number of pockets the mail sorter has
• Allow 3 to 4 weeks production time (lead-times can vary during peak production times)

(STANDARD) 12 1/4" (Letter size) depth is suitable for most customer applications

Mail Sorter Type

(STANDARD) Closed back mail sorters are open on one side of the unit for document distribution and closed on the other side. This is the most common type of mail organizer in the marketplace.

(NO EXTRA COST) Open back mail sorters are open on both sides for document distribution. Pocket opening identification can be done on either or both sides of the organizer. Often, open back mail sorters are recessed into a wall by end users.

Label Holder Option

(+$20.00) Label holders allow the end user to identify each pocket opening. When this option is chosen the factory will furnish the appropriate amount of clear plastic label holders with double sided tape with cardboard inserts for personalized marking for each pocket opening.

Finish for Sorter Shelves

(STANDARD) Finishes for mail sorter shelves are offered in several different electrostratic powder coated paints. The paints are solvent free and are approved by the EPA. All of the paint selections can be bought at the same price by the buyer. Color chips can be requested at no charge.

Melamine Finish for Sorter Shell

(STANDARD) The interior and exterior of the mail sorter shell has a melamine finish which provides durability and appearance benefits. Color matched to the melamine finish, a PVC commercial grade tape is applied to the exposed edges to finish off the unit. All twelve stock melamine finishes are priced equally and color chips can be provided at no charge upon the buyer's request.
